NewLane Brokers

Privacy Policy

At New Lane Brokers (“New Lane,” “we,” “us”), we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it.

Data we collect. Depending on how you use the app, we may collect: name, work email, phone number, brokerage/office affiliation, profile photo, job title, bio, specialties, Instagram/website links you provide, posts and comments you create, photos you upload, optional location used to tag a post, device push-notification tokens, support tickets, and basic account activity needed to operate the service (such as login status and preferences).

How we collect data. We collect information you submit directly (access request, profile, posts, chat messages, support tickets), information generated when you use features (for example, a location tag if you choose to add one), and technical data required to deliver notifications (device token). We do not scrape personal information from public databases or third-party sites to build profiles about you.

How we use data. We use this information to provide and secure the New Lane Brokers platform for approved agents: account access and authentication, directory and office features, feeds and messaging, marketing/support tools, push notifications you enable, safety/moderation (report and block), and to improve reliability and security of the service.

Third parties / service providers. We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the platform, including cloud hosting for our API and database, and Google Firebase (including Cloud Firestore for chat and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications). These providers process data on our behalf and are required to protect it consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users and the service.

Permissions. The app may request Camera, Photo Library, and Location (when in use) only for features you choose—such as setting a profile photo, attaching images to posts, or tagging a post location. You can deny these permissions; core account features still work, and you can search or enter a location manually instead of sharing GPS. Push notifications are optional and can be controlled in device settings and in-app notification preferences.

Retention and deletion. We retain account and content data while your account is active and as needed to operate the service, comply with law, and resolve disputes. You can update profile information in the app at any time. To permanently delete your account and associated personal data, go to More → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is self-service and does not require contacting support. After deletion, personal identifiers are removed or anonymized and you can no longer sign in with that account. For other privacy questions or to revoke consent related to optional features, email gabrielr@marsblue.co.

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the latest version will always be available within the app and on this page.
